A Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Casimir Pulaski Monument in Freedom
Plaza, Pennsylvania Ave. at 13th Street NW, Washington DC.
President George W. Bush sent greetings to be read at the ceremony, in
which he made reference to the assistance that Polish forces gave in Iraq,
which followed "in the footsteps of our ancestors who fought together as

The ceremony was held later than
the weekend of May 3rd to coincide with the presence in Washington of the PAC
Council of National Directors for their semi-annual meeting. A delegation of
National Directors was present at the ceremony.
Despite the rainy weather, the turnout was good, and everyone enjoyed the
proceedings.
